Porcelain surface protection during installation of glass-lined equipment

  1. When carrying out construction and welding near the glass-lined equipment, care should be taken to cover the nozzle to prevent external hard objects or welding slag from damaging the porcelain layer;

  2. Personnel who enter the tank for inspection and installation of accessories should wear soft-soled or cloth-soled shoes (it is strictly forbidden to carry hard objects such as metal), and the bottom of the tank should be padded with a thick enough cushion, the cushion should be clean, and the area should be large enough.

  3. The outer wall of the glass-lined equipment with a porcelain layer is not allowed to be welded; when welding on a jacket without a porcelain layer, measures must be taken to protect the steel plate with the porcelain layer. The parts adjacent to welding should not be locally overheated. Protective measures include cutting and welding without using oxygen. When cutting, the jacket should be filled with water. When the welding port is close to the upper and lower connecting rings, the internal ceramic surface should be evenly preheated and welded by intermittent welding.
