Working principle
After filtering and heating, the air enters the air distributor on the top of the dryer, and the hot air enters the drying chamber evenly in a spiral shape. The material liquid is sprayed by the high-speed centrifugal atomizer (rotating) on the top of the tower body into very fine misty liquid beads, which are in cocurrent contact with hot air, and can be dried into finished products in a very short time. The finished product is continuously output from the bottom of the drying tower and the cyclone separator, and the exhaust gas is evacuated by the fan.
Performance characteristics
● Fast drying speed. After the material liquid is atomized, the surface area is greatly increased. In the hot air flow, 95%-98% of the water can be evaporated instantly, and the drying time is only a few seconds, which is especially suitable for the drying of heat-sensitive materials. Due to the short drying time, the product can maintain uniform fine particles (the product has good dispersibility, fluidity and solubility).
● The production process is simplified, and the operation and control are convenient. For liquids with a moisture content of 40-60% (up to 90% for special materials), they can be dried into powder products at one time, without crushing and screening after drying, reducing production procedures and improving product purity. The product particle size, bulk density and water content can be adjusted by changing the operating conditions within a certain range, and the control and management are very convenient.
● Flexible control. For the product's grain size, bulk density, moisture, product properties (no dust, fluidity, wettability, instant dissolution), the operating conditions can be adjusted within a certain range, and the control and management are convenient.
● Good drying effect. 40%-60% (some materials up to 90%) of the liquid can be dried into powder products at one time without crushing and screening.
● The finished product is of good quality. It can retain the color, fragrance, taste, and other biological activities of the material; the moisture content of the final product.
● Wide range of use. Solutions, emulsions, and suspensions can even be used for liquid materials with viscosity.
● Easy to operate. The centrifugal spray dryer has simple operation, low failure rate and low maintenance cost.
